My trip to the Caribbean

02 January 2009 | Curacao/Bonaire

On my trip we were on a boat for 9 days. It was fun except for the crossing. I got seasick.

The people on the boat were Brandon my brother, my dad, Ryan, Wesley, Admiral Dave, and Captain Desiree.

I got to go scuba diving for my first time!!!!!

The boat was a 43-foot sailboat called Gone Native.

At dinner we got to watch a movie and that was fun.

When I first got to the boat I didn't think I'd survive nine days.

We got to go trolling, wind surfing, and snorkeling too.

We visited Curacao and Bonaire, but the island we didn't get to see was Aruba.

Sometimes we got off at small little islands in a dingy.

The islands where fun we collected sea glass and shells and at one point we went into he town and found mountains' of salt crystals we took some.

When we where scuba diving I got really exited we saw a squid a lot of trumpet fish turtles lots of rainbow parrotfish and French angelfish.

The angelfish were the most beautiful fish.

There were many wonderful sights like the coral and puffer and porcupine fish.

When we went to town we visited the Hato caves and ostriches farm we got to eat and feed the ostriches

We got to see and feed turtles at the hato caves and we saw iguanas and flamingos.

That is my trip to the Caribbean!!!!!!
