Test sail

Doug ~ breezy
5/15/2010 - Progress continues and headway is made... Finally had a calm morning here on Friday so I put the name and hailing port on the stern. Looks pretty good I think. Also, took her out for a "test sail". Well, I only had the staysail up to see how she would do in a descent breeze. Not very good as it turns out. To get her moving will take much more canvas. It was nice though, it was the first time she moved under sail power alone. Hopefully next week I can get the roller furling for the jib installed and work out the details for the main.
I also took a quick trip into Stuart to the Sunset Bay Marina where Rosie and I had dinner at the new restaurant there, the "Sailor Returns". How appropriate!
