Shakedown

very breezy
Took a quick roundtrip From Stuart to Palm Beach and back. Had my brother Todd and nephew Scott along. First time I've been able to fly all the sails and see how she does. I was pleased with her speed in about 15 to 20 but I can see I will need to increase the jib size for lighter air. The present jib was described by the previous owner as useless, I agree and my sailmaker was surprised at how small it is and how high the clew was cut ( I think it was his way of saying "useless"). Stayed on the inside route until we went out of Lake Worth inlet. Got beat up pretty good but was an excellent stressing for the new rigging, I had the fridge compressor break from its' support and fall. I found it hanging by the copper line and electric wire. The boat performed very well overall with a few issues to work out. Whats' new??
Took a quick video at:

of the first sail. Todd and Scott are in the background.
