Preparing for a quick trip with my brothers and maybe my son and nephews and a better main anchor was needed. I have loathed the big CQR anchor since it dissapointed me in the Bahamas. So, I have just found a great buy on a Lewmar Delta 55 pound beast. Found a local seller on craigslist. As it happens, I called the day before he was leaving to return to Long Island (NY not Bahamas). He has a beautiful 50' Heritage cutter. So I made the deal and drug it home to Eleuthera II. The common belief is that the Delta outperforms the CQR in almost all bottoms. I found this one in a size larger than the one suggested by the company so I'll sleep soundly at night.
