Sail on Kiwi II

Setting Sail 2024

Green Turtle Cay

Anchor up at 7:31 am. I have at least 40 lbs of mud and roots of some sort afixed to the anchor. Not much coaxing is shaking this off. Ran the anchor in the water then used a boat hook to dislodge the pack of mud. The clump finally fell aways, anchors seated nicely in place and we are off for another long day. Sailing turned out to be pretty good. We had a little trouble with the main but s little WD fixed that up nicely. There is so much salt everywhere the cars on the mail got hung up a few placed. Working well now. The day was basically uneventful. We sailed lounged and relaxed. The entire trip navigated waypoints to ensure the rocks jutting out from the small islands were voided. Ultimately with the combination of sailing and motoring we shaved some time off the trip entering GTC at 4:20pm. We are happy to be in one spot for a while and enjoy the food, island experience and get in some diving. Stay tuned for other news.
