Sunny Day, and Cool breezes
The winds finally laid down a bit. Last night was 27 sustained winds with gusts to 35. Best decision to stay at the marina. The winds will pipe up again tonight and tomorrow but we expect Thursday to be a good passage day. We are shooting for Great Sail to anchor overnight then onto Green Turtle early Friday to wait our another front.
Yesterday we used the water maker for the first time. Pretty straightforward amd the water tastes good.
Today was beautiful after so much rain. We explored the beach and made it to the edge of the outcropping leading to the Atlantic. Seas were about 4 feet with swells to 6 feet but many left today to head south to Lucaya. Not much of a window in any direction.
We have a backgammon tournament going. So far it is a draw. We are using the board gifted to us by our niece Megan at least 10 years ago.
we also met Harry at the local conch salad stand. Yummy!
Another relaxing day tomorrow before we head out for our next 2 day passage.
Stay tuned for updates from Green Turtle.
