Boat Repairs

13 December 2010 | Marsh Harbour
Cathy
Nov 29 thru Dec 10, 2010
Fred began to dismantle under the aft bed and realized that the problem was not a simple leak around the rudder post. The rogue wave we took two thirds across the Gulfstream, it appeared to have opened up some problems. Long and short was that the boat was hauled and repaired in Marsh Harbour and all work was completed and launched in time for Karyn & Darcy's arriving. Took advantage of the downtime to install new water heater and external shower. It was also a good time to tidy up old water lines and rearrange tubing and pumps.

Extra: Sailed the Bahamas in the winter from 2008-2017. Then swallowed the hook. It must be the galvanize coating on the anchor. Its very difficult to digest. Sold the Endeavour 40 in 2018. Now prepping a C & C 29 to sail with the Grandkids in NB.
