Pants Off, Fish On!

On our way, close to Turtle Bay, it's time to fish again. The day before, Tim hooked a big,
beautiful mahi-mahi, but the fish got away.
So... Tim rigs up a hand line, a bell and a six-inch painted cedar plug with hook. We are motor
sailing along in calm water trailing the lure. We are between two islands: Isla San Benito and
Isla Carlos. Tim's talking mahi-mahi recipes. The weather is getting hotter and hotter. Here
we are, long johns, sweatshirts, hats and it's 80 degrees!
Tim decides he's too hot and goes down below to quickly change into shorts. As soon as he
got his pants off... bam...bell is ringing, and a fish is on! My brother will do anything to catch a
fish- including running up in his underwear to reel one in!
Despite the laughter, Tim reels in the fish. The fish is not a keeper, so he tosses it back. Turns
out we were in a sweet spot for fish. Tim's catching fish every three minutes! He reels in at
least 7 fish. He tosses them all back. He's holding out for that mahi-mahi.
