Kicsi Does Mazatlán

Mazatlán ... so opposite from what we experienced in Cabo San Lucas. A mellow, resort vibe... just what we needed. Plus, the resort has pickleball courts! Really happy now. Just need to "share" the court with iguanas!
Anne took on the task of arranging activities for us with gusto. The best day was touring the city with Freddie, our pulmonia driver. A pulmonia is a cross between a golf cart and a little open- air jeep. With Anne in the front, Steve, Connie and Tim in the back seat and Kicsi behind us in the "open trunk"... we set out to explore the city.
One word. Spectacular. A clean city with beautiful beaches and breath-taking views. My favorite spot? Old town, hands down! We enjoyed strolling the narrow cobblestone streets, walking through the decorated squares, and touring the old cathedral.
With Kicsi in tow, we landed at a quaint courtyard restaurant. Anne and I splurged on sea bass with squid ink sauce. Yup, squid ink.
Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
