Many years ago a 5 year old immigrant from Russia arrived in the United States. Years later he, Irving Berlin, wrote God Bless America. I always think of this song on July 4th. Here are some of the lyrics.

As I have added years to my life I have learned to appreciate the things I have, the people I know, my family and friends, the God I worship, and the country I live in. I pray America overcomes the internal and external challenges it faces and remains a strong, free, and proud country.
