A Thanksgiving Blessing
A Thanksgiving Blessing: I just went above and was graced by the broaching of a huge, either fin whale or minke...All I have is little kids book reference... It was huge and blew right alongside the boat as its huge body surfaced and then slipped back into the sea...I saw one other whale farther in the distance ...It always makes me just want to stay on deck, afraid I will miss another sighting. Who knows how much acitivity I miss as I type away down below... it is such a shame that the computer screens are useless in the sun on deck.
When I get home, it has to be a priority to get a computer that is more friendly to writing. It has to have a 'kindle 'screen option so you can type and read outside.
Winds are perfectly gliding me along..10-15kts...though it may get lighter later... completely overcast day, wanting to soft irish rain, but not quite that heavy. So I will read and type. I am going to start to knit some scarves for all the grand girls.Ones where the ends tuck into each other so they don't fall off or have ends flying around.
Thanksgiving is here. It won't be long and I will be heading for the home stretch.
I am full, so very full of GRATITUDE... truly there is no room for any other energy today...To be doing what I am doing with the support and love of you all is just the most amazing possibility my life could be engraciated with ...I am overwelmed as I consider it... Sailing the Southern Ocean, visited by massive powerful whales that simply slip by me with greeting as the water spews 2oft high from their blowhole.!!! It is a WOW...
