Days of Meditation aboard INSPIRED INSANITY
INSPIRED INSANITY is moving slowly north in light winds. Donna is content, eating well and healed from the knockdown.
Donna's routine now includes daily times of meditation, specifically 7 to 8 am EST and 2-3 pm EST. She has asked all to think of her at these times and meditate along with her if this is your interest. Dottie, Jeannie and others know what I mean. It is her way to stay connected with all who are thinking of her. Thank you.
Bob McD has continued to provide weather information to pass on to Donna. He is forecasting a change from the light winds for today with an increase to 15 knots from the SE. That is good, very good, and should get II moving along again quite well to the Panama Canal. Bob McD is also giving advice about ocean currents and waypoints to steer to ride the favorable currents and avoid the others. Thank you, Bob McD.
Perhaps today, we will learn whether the swapped wind generator is going to produce power to charge Donna's batteries. The KISS generator she departed with was designed to produce more power in lighter air. That was why it was chosen. The one she is working with now requires a bit more wind to produce significant power for the batteries, but has always been able to keep up. We will see. The additional battery power will enable Donna to communicate by SSB radio once again.
Donna does not have any plans to stop at Robinson Crusoe Island now. It was considered a landfall in case of an emergency, but won't be needed as she makes her way North in the Pacific Ocean.
I need to investigate the Panama Canal protocol and what this is going to take, both physically and financially, to accomplish. Stay tuned.
