We had a peaceful sail from Barbuda to St Martin, at least it was until we hit the mother lode of fishing spots! We had two lures in the water and in a ten minute period I had reeled in 3 tuna and lost two others. I just finished cleaning those three fish when another fish was on - I reeled in a nice King Mackerel. Before I could even start preparing the mackerel I had fish on both lines! I worked hard for 20 minutes to bring in a big Mahi and then grabbed the other rod. I expected another Mahi, but instead we had our first Wahoo!

Who knew that these different species travelled together! We have been enjoying gourmet, grilled fish every night since.
