Smooth seas

We had a fun night aboard Sol Surfin last night grilling delicious Mahi and catching up with our friends Gary and Celeste. The night turned into a musical event as Gary and Kathleen played their guitars and Celeste and I beat on some drums... all singing along with Gary's lead.
Vicarious sailed out at 0745 for Fajardo, Puerto Rico and will really miss the crew of Sol Surfin. We had a nice sail past St Thomas and Culebra and fueled up with 95 gallons of diesel at $4.10 per gallon at Sun Bay Marina in Fajardo.
I called Customs to check in and out, and had to do quite a dance to Not have to move Vicarious over to a dock for an inspection. Why is it that we get the most hassle in our own country?
We are anchored next to a boat from Rochester, NY. We had a nice chat with the couple as our sterns swung close... They are also headed for Maine.
Tomorrow we set out for a 400 mile run to Turks and Caicos - our longest ever... Will we want to kill each other? We shall see...
