Looking Good

I am now working on my own, as Kathleen has flown to Portland, Oregon to visit with her family. I finished our new boot stripe and raised our waterline a couple more inches. This helped the look by reducing the size of the stripe, so it wasn't quite so BOLD. Vicarious got a lot of complements today, so that's a good sign that things are looking good.
On the less pleasant note - I took a gallon of Trinidad SR Black to the local hardware store to have it shaken in their machine - as per the directions... and the can sort of blew apart in the machine! The bottom separated and stinky, black paint was everywhere in the shaker and oozing out. The paint gal and I scrambled to get what was left poured into a new can.
I called Jamestown Distributors and let them know and they are sending me a new gallon of bottom paint... great customer service, since the stuff costs about $250 per gallon! They told me that the paint gal must have clamped the can too tightly in the shaker. I think that I will mix the new gallon with a drill mixer.
