Buddy Cruising

We are cruising again! My happy place indeed. We raised the hook this morning and moved over to the fuel dock for 36 gallons of diesel and 170+ gallons of water. We were doing our first load of laundry as we were filling the tanks. There was a stream of power boats going by us as they were setting up for the power boat show.
We moved out past the hundred boats at anchor and did a couple of 360s so I could calibrate the auto pilot that I reinstalled. I spent the rest of the day making adjustments to the settings, as Raymarine cleared all my settings during the recent service.
We had a peaceful motor sail to Solomon's Island with our friends Dave and Trish a few miles back in their CSY 37 Equinox, that they are moving to Florida.
We are now anchored and expecting some wind tonight - but not before our cruising buddies join us aboard Vicarious for tasty food, good red wine from a box and fun cruising stories.
