So, changes are afoot again. Life is malleable like copper - able to be pounded into a bowl, run through a house for electricity, or woven around gemstones to create beautiful jewelry. We have been debating what shape our life will take over the next 12 months. We have an end result we are looking forward to and are planning for but there are steps we need to take in order to continue our beloved life on the water. We have made the hard decision to take over the day to day operations of our rental business in New Bern. We are paying people money we don't really have to take care of things that we can take care of more efficiently, cheaply and for example, without the stress of finding out that all the doors that were supposed to be replaced on our house were measured improperly!

So, we don't know how long we will be in a slip at the Hilton again, but no more than a year. We plan to take a possible 2 month cruise down south, possibly exploring SC, Beaufort, Hilton Head, Georgetown, hitting favorite spots with friends along the way, like Southport NC!

We must be semi landlubbers, but still living aboard in order to realize the next phase of the dream.

I know this might be disappointing news to some of you. Especially the ones who are waiting for the Keys video, but know that exciting things are on the horizon for Sail Vicarious and we will film all of it and each video will continue to get better and better!

Right now we are crossing the Albemarle sound. We left at the crack to get across before the 30 knot gusts that are forecast to kick up around noon. We are almost across and it is before 10! Yay! Hopefully we won't get grounded before the Alligator river bridge!

As always we like to hear from our readers. If you are in the area stop by and say hi!
