No photo is attached to this entry... because we would all look like zombies. First, I got a cold and then it went into my chest. Then, Tim caught probably the same bug and was out for a couple days. Jim is just now recovering from the intestinal grody that was probably a sick mutation of the original virus that I caught. The only survivor so far is Carolyne... fit as a fiddle. Having been far away from large societies for numerous months and then coming to La Paz has been, to my mind, similar to the pilgrims venturing into North America and infecting the indiginous peoples with new germs... except that the germs were small pox and measles... and killed them... and then there's the VD... okay never mind the comparison. We are all S-L-O-W-L-Y recovering. Just in time to sell our car and venture south!
