No more car

We've had our car in Mexico since we've begun cruising. Yesterday, we "traded it for coconuts" (non-Mexican Nationals are not allowed to "sell" anything in MX). The car was useful while we were here, but frankly, it was more of a pain to try to juggle storage-wide. We used it to travel to the USA a few times, but the bus systems are so good here in the MX (and affordable) that paying to store the car seems wasteful. In addition, going to pick up the car and bring it back to wherever we happened to be anchored was a 'one-person job' (mainly my job) because Jim had to stay on the boat to ensure it didn't drag. Although I will miss my little white car, it's been three days and I have no post-trading depression... in fact, I feel very liberated. One less 'thing' to mess with!
