Donny, Dorothy, Ellie & I had a perfect sail this afternoon. Left the dock at around 12:30. Wind was E at 10 knots, then swung around to the SSW at 12 to 15 knots. We zig-zagged off Ft Myers Beach for a while, then as the wind shifted, we sailed over to Sanibel. I heard on Channel 16 that the charter schooner, Appledore V was heading out & we spotted her sailing SE off FMB. We turned around and headed back to FMB to get a closer look at her. Here is a nice shot Dorothy took as we sailed nearby. Our top speed today was 7.1 knots. Headed back in at 4:15 and tied up at 4:45. For our first sail in 4 months, we had a perfect afternoon.
