Little Fiskardo, with an off-season population of but 230, is the only Cephalonian village that wasn't devastated by the 1953 earthquake. So this picturesque village still boasts its century's old Venetian buildings. All this, framed by cypress mantled hills, make it very popular in season and with "well-keeled" yachties, often rafted two or three deep on the town quay, joined by tourists who've arrived in droves by ferry, the population soars.

The sidewalk shops and cafes provided great entertainment for our gang and a misty walk to an old Venetian lighthouse (top left, above) provided Fiskardho Foto-ops for all - not only of the surroundings but also of each other. Jennifer, still sporting her "Greek Tradgedy" forehead bump, Craig, with a "sympathy bump" from some boat chore or other and an intact Katherine pose before hitting town. Amy and Jen are as photogenic as the pretty Greek houses, and Sandra and Chris check out town from the bow of "Deep Blue".
