"I always feel like The Ghost from Christmas Past when we do this exercise of hauling the heavy chain out on our side deck to rinse it and let it dry." On our primary alone, we have 200' of chain and 120' of rope. Then our secondary anchor has 200' of rope and 30' of chain.

Paddling around Bequia
As my buddy Joan Dwyer would say, “the goal in paddle boarding is to avoid looking like a little old lady pushing a Wegman’s cart.” Actually, I’ll be doing that soon enough as we are heading home in a week.
Shiatsu Zen
I guess it showed in the way we were walking down the beach. Out of nowhere a Yanni-looking long haired handsome guy appeared, wearing what looked like a Karate kid outfit. He had a nice smile and approached us to talk about how the Zen process works and how we could release some of the aches and pains by giving it a try. He described perfectly what work Moby needed on his shoulders for the pinch in his back. We were sold.
I am a massage connoisseur and usually go for the deep tissue massage. But the Shiatsu Zen version worked wonders. I finished my walk on the beach and returned to find Moby's arm swinging like a wet noodle as he enjoyed the last of his chair massage.
Then, Christopher (the Yanni look alike) gives Moby his marching orders , “ Go now…for zee walk. At least 50 meterz away, while I get intimate weez your wife…” That was Zen speak for he was going to manipulate the kinks right out of my back. “Caroline.. Breathe out. Expires. Relacher toute la responsabilité. Ici. Maintenant. C’est tout que c’est importe.
Feeling more human now than I have in ages!
