Cayos Tabaco, Cuba

Another boat joined us last night in our anchorage at some point early evening. Some local fishermen also came by to sell us some live lobsters for $5US each. Our smallest bill was a $20, so oh well, we had to get four. We had already prepared last night's dinner, so we put the tails of the lobsters in the fridge to be barbequed for dinner tonight. Today we motor sailed over to Tabaco Cay. Like the other Cays we have visited here it is covered in mangroves and so in the early evening the bugs start wandering over to the boat. We have our screens up which helps, but somehow a few still get in. We have a few bites from last night to show for that. The last two nights we have had squalls with winds up to 30 knots, rain, and lightening out of the East. Last night wasn't nearly as long as the previous one. We are protected from that direction again tonight in case another visits us.
Tomorrow we take about a 45 mile run into Marina Jagua in Cien Fuegos.
All's well aboard.
