Anegada Da Vida
24 February 2008 | Anegada, BVIs
Our last stop before we head south - Anegada, the most "remote" of the BVIs. I'd been here a few times before, and had awesome memories of a long, desolate white sand beach, waters teeming with conch, and a tasty and fun lobster bbq dinner at the Anegada Reef Hotel. Well, things have changed a bit...there were, of course, lots of boats, the conch were scarce, and the lobster dinner was sadly the "worst, most expensive dinner" we've had in the Caribbean. But, the white sand beach is still beautiful and, as you can see, pretty desolate! And the town is still the same sleepy town I remember. Fortunately, progress hasn't totally impacted the BVIs.
