The Big day has finally arrived!

Scolamanzi was picked up by the travel lift at 2 pm ... it will always be a nerve-raking experience for me ... but they are very professional and all went smoothly from the hard stand till she wet her toes!

The first roar of the engines was just absolutely music in the ears! Oh my word ... you could not wipe that smile off the captain's face!

All in all a good day ... now for the cleaning up and reorganising the storage and get in touch with everything that makes a yacht go!...things that use to come naturally last time takes serious concentration now! And the Captain is testing my knowledge on a regular basis with "boat time" sessions! ha ha! .... I do feel like a rookie!
Trinidad is in Carnival mode ... no stop partying... half dressed bodies with sequence and feathers are swaying from early morning till late at night on Calypso music! There is not enough space on this page to even start with Carnival photos or pictures! Will wait till Tuesday ...the Finale! Keep watching this space...
