As we head for the border... We stopped in San Diego to check in with our friends Christine & Eric of s/v Indara. As good luck would have it, Elaine & Jamie from s/v Tardis were in town too! This calls for ... a dinner party!
Christine made her unreal chili!
We ate and we ate... after dinner, the boys went out to look at Christine's Dad's 1951 Woody, the car she learned to drive in, the car she took to the beach to surf and the car that now is still in the garage in original condition... the boys were in car heaven! Jamie happened to bonk himself so Eric brought out the serious "let's take a look" glasses.
and then Jamie had his turn trying the glasses...
and then John had his turn...
