We have broken the La Paz "bungee"! We threw off the dock lines and ran for the islands. After a few hours of sailing & motoring, we were at anchor. Ahhhhh...... this is what we've been missing! We were the tour guides for our friends on m/v Golden Eagle.
We explored the sea caves with them.
Golden Eagle is 72 feet of unreal luxury....
in the galley - a five burner propane stove that you would have in your home, a large size fridge from home, a full size dishwasher, a trash compactor, a full size stacked washer/dryer, 3 lockers that are individually wired to be a fridge, freezer or cold storage..... AND an ice maker!
Did I mention that there are 4 state rooms, 4 bathrooms and the master bath has a full sized bathtub!! .... just a few of the "little luxuries" one would expect to find on a power boat! Not to worry sailing friends, we are not ready to switch to the other side!
Yup, Golden Eagle is a thing of beauty. The only drawback for Andrea & Ted is that all the cruisers that they meet end up on Golden Eagle for happy hour! She's definitely the belle of the anchorage.
We found a "bundle" of very opposite items while at the grocery store when we provisioned..... not sure what the connection might be?
There may have been a sunset or two!
Theo and his dad did a bit of fishing off the stern of Golden Eagle... fish for dinner tonight boys!
