Spa time! We booked into the spa at the Kia Ora Resort & Spa - pedicure for the sailors!
While Glenda was having her feet restored to "city" standards, I wrote out some postcards for the folks at home. "Snail Mail" - we will see who gets back to Vancouver first!
After the spa, we had worked up an appetite! Sashimi was the order of the day. The fish is so very, very fresh here... and the presentation is beautiful.
We did some exploring of the motu.
The locals are sooooo friendly! We are suckers for the furry ones.
And then there are the other locals - the ones in the water... maybe we won't get too friendly with them! This ray was about 3-4 feet across - just gliding about.
Shark! We saw many sharks - white tipped, black tipped and a nurse shark. Today there was a black tipped shark swimming amongst the sargent fish.
The owner of the local patisserie is very styling!!
Sally & Dean on Imoogi arranged for us to have dinner at Relais du Josephine. It was as if we were in Provence! A little bit of french heaven.
The food, the plates, the table linens - we could be in France.
Of course we had to get some puppy love - they had the sweetest, cleanest, fluffiest & wiggliest little puppy running around the patio. Pets are considered family amongst the French.
