Capt Nic Robinson met me at HHYC at 0930 on Monday 11 August to undertake the survey of Scrumpy. I had taken the morning off, hopeful that we would be all done by lunchtime. I had asked Dragon Marine to assist in manoeuvering the boat to the crane and we started her up and crawled over to the pontoons at about 1 knot. We she was lifted clear, the propeller and hull were festooned with mussels and barnacles of various sizes. Time to get busy with the scraper while Nic inspected the keel, hull and rudder.
