Pulling anchor
21 March 2014 | Tenacatita
My second night here was uneventful, yeah. It was very rolly last night but the anchor held and I slept well. Yesterday I read and relaxed all morning and into the early afternoon. Mid-afternoon we (Roxie and me) went back to shore and ate dinner and visited with people. I drank a couple of beers and also met my boat neighbors, Christy and Joe. All in all it was a good day. This morning I am hoping it settles down a little bit or blows offshore so it will be easier to pull anchor. I want to head to Tenacatita soon but we will see.
Arrived in Tenacatita without any problems. The kayak towed easily. There was very little wind and it was dead on my nose. I got anchored easily enough but when I hopped in the kayak to take Roxie to shore I realized I could have picked a much better spot. I chickened out and didn't go as far as I wanted to so it is a long ride to Dog Beach.
