Today I heard someone yell "Ahoy SeaMoore". It was Debbie and Dan on Caper We had met them in El Cid Marina in Mazatlán. I invited them back for drinks in the evening. We had a long pleasant visit. I would have cooked dinner but Debbie can't eat glutton and doesn't like beans and that pretty much left me with nothing to cook. My supplies are pretty low. I have some potatoes, 4 limes and 2 apples. Luckily I have canned corn and peas. I have plenty to drink and enough odds and ends to keep me well enough fed. When I am back in Barra I will stock up on produce or maybe I will go to Melaque for a night before I head into Cuastacumante. That is probably a better plan.
We had dolphins all around our boat. There was a racket at the anchor chain and Roxie jumped up and started barking at the V-berth. When we went topside there were six dolphins swimming outside. We ran up to the bow and Roxie got excited and started barking when all of a sudden one surfaced directly under us. He seemed so big and was so close, poor Roxie didn't know what to do at first but then she resumed her barking and tail wagging. She doesn't realize what a perfect sized snack she would be for one of them.
Debbie and Dan left my boat around 10:30 and I headed to bed. At 11:00 I heard some fireworks so I went to see. It was a great display on the beach that lasted nearly 10 minutes. Perfect ending to the day.
