Another foredeck picture

This is the area just aft of the previous post showing the location for the forehatch and the deadlight. I have made up new trim pieces to account for the extra thickness of the deck where the hatch and the deadlight go through. I also added some extra framing around the hatch and really reinforced the deck under the new windlass. It doesn't show in the pictures but I have changed the hull to deck joint so that it is glassed over completely and the toe rail sits on top of the deck so hopefully that will prevent water intrusion.

Extra: The name for the boat comes from the first letters of all our names which also happens to be in chronological order. We are all looking forward to getting the boat back in the water.
