Yesterday was Judy's 58th birthday and she celebrated it in grand style. You know that there's nothing Judy likes better than being the centre of attention and having a fuss made over her.
We awoke to a beautiful day. We always listen to the cruisers' net on the vhf at 8:00 where there's all kinds of information, announcements, buy and sell, etc. Jim on Excapaid announces Judy's birthday right after the net and she received many wishes from the cruising community. This was an auspicious start. At 8:45 I took her over to the beach where she participated in Aquasize. She swam back to Sea Sharp after the session. After lunch, she and I went for a long walk along the beach.
We had Jim and Irene and their friends Bill and Judy from Escapaid for dinner to celebrate Judy's day. We cooked surf and turf, the surf part being the Mahi Mahi that Irene caught the day before on our return from Long Island; not the picture of her with the fish a couple of posts ago. We had a lovely evening and Judy announced that she had an excellent day.
