Hola!
Finally got to participate in my first Grenada Hash Hound Harriers (GH3) weekly "Hash"
A Hash is a Hare & Hound running/hiking event thru the rugged bush in different locales on the the island. The course is laid out just prior to the event by the "Hare" marking real AND false trail directions for the Hounds to follow. The 1-26-2019 3.5 mile course included 3 very steep incline trails up and down in a circuitous route that returned to the start point.
The event yesterday was #1070. This chapter was founded in 1985 and holds a meet almost every Saturday of the year. Approximately 250 locals and foreigners turned out for the scramble and to enjoy camaraderie, food, drink and ceremony afterwards.
Grenada's GH3 is one of the largest "kennels" that are in 110 countries of the world. The event was established in Malaysia in 1938 by a group of Ex-British Pats and claims to be a "Drinking club with a running problem"
