Overnight stop at Cumberland Bay, St Vincent

Hola!
Sailed north to St Vincent on Valentine's day. I have found that island hopping is the most enjoyable way to see the islands. Usually I choose anchorages 20 to 50 miles apart so one is not spending all day travelling. You can get in early and spend a little time looking around and visiting with the locals and other cruisers.
Here you Med moor your boat. Backing towards shore while paying out your anchor rode. Then a local takes your stern line to shore with his dinghy and ties it around a palm tree or a post. A real positive anchoring system and this method allows for getting more boats secured in a small area (bay) There are 3 boats here tonight, myself and 2 catamarans. I had arrived first. After getting set I bought fresh produce from the boat boys including, oranges, bananas, passion fruit, star fruit and tomatoes.
Hope to make Rodney Bay on the north end of St Lucia tomorrow about 52 miles.
Caio!
