Holy Wow!!!....time flies when you're having fun. I'm taking this opportunity to list the chain of events since my March 25th entry.
> Lucky to leave Trinidad just prior to country closing down due to corona-virus measures.
> Flight to Seattle uneventful, planes and airports were virtually empty.
> Closed sale on my home of 44 years in Snohomish April 10th. Sold, gave away or moved all belongings in just under 3 weeks to complete sale. Thank goodness I started thinning out last fall.
> Purchased "Wish List" a 44' Hi-Star Sportsfisher in partnership with John Funk. John lives aboard full time year round. It is my center of operations when I'm in the NW. We keep her in covered moorage which has a territorial view of the marina, Whidbey Island and the Olympic Mountains. Makes for ideal NW living and unbelievable sunsets!
> Moved "MYORCA" onto H dock about 75' off the transom of "Wish List". She is always in full view and very convenient for crabbing, knocking about and trips to Center Island.
> Enjoying doing ongoing upgrades to both boats making them more efficient and more personalized.
> Went on 54th annual Wenatchee River Float mid July. Smaller crowd than usual but due to spring coming slowly the river was higher than normal making for the best float I can remember.
> Current plan is to continue enjoying the NW thru September then heading for my beloved Bungalow in Bradenton.
> Not sure if a return to "SeaSwift" in Trinidad is in the cards in January 2021 or not as the country is still on lock down.
> If Trinidad is not an option I'll spend the winter enjoying the Bungalow until it's time to head back out to the NW towards the end of June for the traditional opening of Dungeness crab season.
My hope is that everyone is managing these crazy times to the best of their abilities and faring well.
Be healthy, be safe, strive to be happy,
