Normans Cay to Staniel Cay

Glenn.
We weighed anchor just before 1050hrs (that's 10:50am) and once again found our way through the sandbar, and began sailing further south towards Staniel Cay. The winds ended up being quite a bit closer to our intended heading than we expected, so as the day wore on, we began falling off the wind a bit at a time so we could continue sailing, rather than motoring. We finally gave in, rolled up the sails and motored the rest of the way.
It turns out the timing was good, because as we turned, we turn dead into the wind & waves to motor the last hour and a half or two hours to the anchorage. When motoring without sails, the boat tends to roll quite a bit, so we often leave a mainsail up to try and steady us a bit. This time, we were straight into the wind, so no roll, though the spray off the bow came right over the entire boat and off the stern - leaving us pretty salt-encrusted when we finally did anchor.
It was a good day's travel.
