Day 14, 8/11–Harrisville to Port Sanilac
11 August 2019 | Port Sanilac
Doug Lauzon | Sunny, light winds, and calm seas
Left Harrisville this morning while forecasts were in our favor and crossed Saginaw Bay under great conditions. And since the seas and winds are low, it is always best to take advantage of the timeāso we went further than expected, ending our day in Port Sanilac. This was our first stop back on Day 1.
Since we ran for 8 1/2 hours, it was fitting for an early BBQ dinner at the pavilion on shore with new friends, Mark & Elizabeth. Good dockside chat followed with Craig & Linda who we have been docking with since Mackinaw and Harrisville. Funny how boaters migrate from port to port.
Tomorrow will be one to relax and enjoy a day in the harbor.
