Day 15, 8/12–Day at Port Sanilac
12 August 2019 | Port Sanilac

Today was a day to sleep in, kick back, and relax.
This morning our traveling neighbors, Craig and Linda, aboard their boat Sunshine State of Mind, departed for our home port of St Clair for a day or two visit.
We made our way to town for a walk down Main St and a few antique, novelty stores. Most of the small towns we have visited still maintain buildings that were built in the late 1800's. One in particular had the original wood plank floors and store-front. It's special to see how these communities preserve rather than destroy their history.
Tomorrow we will have our shortest day on the water of 12 miles to our next port of Lexington. We will be there until Friday, when our last day of travel will take us back to home port.
