Today was our last day of travel, ending our trip that lasted almost three weeks. The lake was one of the nicest days to cruise with calm seas and a great way to end our voyage. Once arriving back at home port, we spent the afternoon giving Second Knot a well deserved outside cleaning.
The evening was spent with our home port dockside good friends, Heather and Shane, that welcomed us back, enjoying tales of our trip and conversation around a fire pit alongside their boat. We are blessed to have so many people that share our interests and have allowed us to form such special bonds of friendship along our ways.
Tomorrow, St Clair is hosting the Jazz Festival which should bring a lot of musical talent and hours of good listening along the boardwalk.
