Get-a-way trip to Lexington State Harbor
29 June 2020 | Lexington State Harbor
Doug Lauzon | Sunny, warm, and flat seas.
Taking a short trip for a two night stay at a favorite spot in Lake Huron. Lexington is a Harbor of Refuge fifteen miles north of Port Huron. We did a slow trawler crawl of four hours, covering some thirty miles, but really enjoyed the sites and calm waters.
Our afternoon and evening was shared with neighbors Susan and Dennis from SCBH, aboard “B Haven” for cocktails, a pizza dinner in town, followed by a dingy ride around the harbor and beach area. Great time!
Tomorrow will be a relaxing day with Ann and Steve visiting us, touring all the shoppes in town. Benches line the sidewalks so the guys always have a place to sit and wait while gals shop.
