Day 3–Jefferson Beach to Kelleys Island

Today was a day to make up for lost time...perfect weather allowed us to complete travel of 71 miles from Lake St Clair, Detroit River, and western Lake Erie. Kelleys Island is a short four miles from the Ohio mainland, roughly 2x4 miles in size. The island is rich in history, from the Glacial Grooves to the beautiful restored houses, many of which are well over 150 years old. The evening sunset was a color spectrum over the western shore. Tomorrow we will be renting a golf cart to tour the island.
