Back To Hong Kong!

22 March 2010 | photo by Jim K
Hello Boys & Girls, it's been a few weeks since we added to the blog; we've been very busy with school, but finished our finals last week and have had a few days to decompress from that. Dorothy and I really enjoyed, and got a lot out of, our classes this quarter, and we're looking forward to next - both because the next classes will be last in this program, and because we're looking forward to the content also.

So, what to do on "spring break"? Probably not Daytona Beach, Cancun or the Caribean, or for that matter to New Orleans (where some of our classmates are headed); no we're off to the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens Tournament; something we planned even before we left HK last May.

As I've stated here each of the past two years - HK Rugby 7s is the greatest sporting event I've ever attended, and the best 3 day party as well. Looking forward to it all! But especially looking forward to visiting with our HK friends. We have both really, really missed Hong Kong: first and foremost our friends there; but also so much exotic diversity (yet familiar and safe); so much to see, so much to do. If you're interested, there are 16-17 entries / photos starting back at 29 March 09.

Unfortunately Rusty will have to stay home.

PS. If you are already planning to attend Trawlerfest in Anacortes WA, Saturday 22 May 1030 - 1200, we will be presenting on last summer's voyage from Hong Kong to Seattle:
