F'ing Gorgeous!
We're finally back on DE! Dorothy, Rusty and the new guy -- who still hasn't told us his name. We've had lots of great suggestions, but nothing's stuck yet.

Rusty and I flew up from Seattle Friday morning; Dorothy came in this morning with the pup.

DE's on the hard, sitting where she was moved after the bottom job we had done in February. She's surrounded by venerable Alaskan fishing boats -- Bright Bay, Sprite, Defiant, Talia, Symphony, Odyssey, Vicky Rann, Cape Reliant, Patsy, Irony and Sunrise; naming only those I can identify from the deck. Patsy's owner / captain has been fishing her for 40 years!

We've got a week or so of work before we can get back in the water. And likely another week after that before getting underway again. A lot got taken apart in January-February and will take awhile to put back together.  At the moment, no power, no water, no toilets; but no worries either: we're together aboard DE in Wrangell AK, on a glorious spring evening... priceless.
