Once more under the salon floor...

OK so we didn't get out of here yet... Yesterday we took on very close to 4800 liters of diesel fuel (approximately 1200 US gallons for the metrically-challenged), I helped Ray's guy Rollie finish up in the engine room bilge, then took a nap preparatory to the big provisioning shopping. I woke up smelling diesel and... yes another tank top gasket flaw revealed itself. By the time the Shearwater Diesel Douche gang got done with hubting down the leak, cleanup and pumping a significant amount of fuel out of the forward port tank into deck fuel bladder, it was 2000hrs and the need to wait until the next day for a new gasket.

It's now midday, Saturday 27 Apr, I have the new gasket in hand; one of two provisioning expeditions is completed and I'm preparing to re-install the tank lid. I'm thinking we will actually depart Subic this evening (with additional materials on-hand for future adventures in diesel).
