My friend Craig, sometime on the last leg (N. Japan to SE Alaska) of our 2009 North Pacific transit in DavidEllis, wrote a poem about
"wind and fog (or was it wind and rain?), all I see is wind and fog/rain"... while we're not seeing much of fog or rain, we are doing a
roller coaster of seas frequently equivalent to that we saw in the Gulf of Alaska -- only there it was a 3-day crossing; we're into our
sixth day here, with two weeks!!! to go. thank goodness for the paravane stablizers.
Shearwater's crew is making appropriate preparations for transit of the
Einsteinian Space-Time yestermorrow just ahead at Dateline -- take that Future Girl!
I sure hope the Krespy Kreme shop has fresh chocolate donuts.
