Last night a gorgeous bright moon, tonight supposed to be the biggest/brightest; hopefully we'll have a clear view.
Tomorrow's estimated position should have us past another time zone boundary and into ZD +11. I believe we
have one more to go before Hawaii.

As noted in the last report, we're more or less halfway and the deity(deities) that control the elements have favored
us with some hours of lighter winds and calmer seas. It's not a calm sea by any means, but it is significantly calmer,
enough so that 5hrs ago we were running at 6 knots with hatches open (which have beeen dogged down due to the
regular drenchings from spray thrown up by the wind as the bow busted into oncoming seas. We're putting some
time and distance into the band at no greater cost in fuel than slogging at barely 4 knots (in worse conditions). We
will see though, whether these conditions last long enough to make a difference in the almost 1000nm we have left
to Hawaii, or that they were only a moment of respite from bashing our brains about the inside of our craniums going
to weather for nearly three weeks.
