Summary, we continue pushing for 5+ kts, hoping for arrival in Hawaii mid-day Saturday 29 June, distance to Hawaii waypoint 648nm
Shearwater continues to bash, thrash, bounce, slam (and occasionally for moments at a time glide smoothly) towards Hawaii. We're going to
need a little bit better conditions, I think, at least for a day or so, to get in before dark Saturday. It's too early to say definitively.
Crew is begining to think about flights out and packing / shipping, though still very much focused on the watch-by-watch necessities
of blue-water passage-making. A reminder, you can find Capt David's day-by-day Shearwater blog, also at Sailblogs.com under MV Shearwater.
