another nap, another watch, wind and sea continue to give us a bumpy ride, yet we are managing to eke out 6kts or better. we're all ready for things to stop moving and a return to some kind of normality. We're moving the last two full tanks of fuel -- the forward tanks -- to the empty mid tanks. With the aft fuel tank now empty, we didn't want to be nose heavy.
We look to be in good shape regards fuel versus distance, although an increase in wind & sea back to the 30s and 4+ meters
could certainly throw a monkey wrench in that calculation.
Wade checks in each day on the Pacific Seafarer's Net, a ham net operated to track, and pass messages, for trans Pacific
pleasure boats. I haven't seen it but Dorothy tells me they have a great website; you can find it here.: www.pacseanet.com
