We're here in Costa Rica

ahoy all,
We are here in beautiful Costa Rica at the Papagayo Marina. The trip up from the Panama Canal was uneventful except for the wind on the nose the entire way.
The seas are teeming with life, numerous sea turtles, flying bat rays, jumping sailfish, whales are just a normal part of life here.
Our check in process, getting through customs and immigration, was about a 24 hour event. I felt bad for our crew as they had to spend almost 18 hours on the boat although we had already arrived at the Marina. Although customs and immigration came to the boat I still needed to take $100 taxicab ride to get a cruising permit for Costa Rica. I'm hoping our agent will be able to pick up my Zarpe papers allowing us to leave the country without having to go back into town.
The Marina here at Papagallo is fairly vacant although they have told us they are in a transition season. Look at the big white object in the photo. That is Steve jobs megayacht.
More updates later.
